Jason S. Ashford, MD, FACS, received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas, Austin and attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed his general surgery residency at the UT Southwestern/Parkland general surgery program, and completed additional training in hand surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Ashford is board certified in surgery and hand surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
Jason Scott Ashford, MD, is a specialist in hand and upper extremity surgery. He treats a broad array of hand and upper extremity problems, from acute injuries to chronic conditions. Born in Georgia and raised and educated in Texas, Dr. Ashford graduated with honors from the University of Texas, Austin with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology. He then obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. After completing medical school he remained in Dallas to complete his general surgery residency at the UT Southwestern/Parkland general surgery program. He then continued further subspecialty surgical training in hand surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Dr. Ashford’s practice mission is to relieve pain, restore function and help his patients return to work and play.
